เด็กอินเตอร์ไม่เก่งภาษาไทย จริงหรือไม่? ภาษาไทยกับเด็กอินเตอร์ หลายๆคนพอได้ยินคำนี้ ก็มักจะนึกไปถึงว่า เด็กนักเรียนโรงเรียนนานาชาติ เรียนแต่ภาษาอังกฤษ พูดอังกฤษคล่องมาก แต่พูดไทยไม่ชัดเลย มิหนำซ้ำ บางคน ยังพูดไทยคำ อังกฤษ คำอีก ซึ่งมักจะเป็นข้อกังวลของ คุณพ่อ คุณแม่ หลายๆท่าน ที่กำลังตัดสินใจว่า จะให้ลูกไปเรียนโรงเรียนนานาชาติดีหรือไม่? เพราะลูกเป็นคนไทย อยู่ประเทศไทย การพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้คล่องก็มีประโยชน์ แต่ถ้าภาษาไทยไม่คล่อง ก็คงไม่ดีแน่ๆ
“ลงทุนมัม” เห็นด้วยมากๆ ว่า ยังไงเราเป็นคนไทยและอยู่ประเทศไทย ภาษาไทยเป็นสิ่งที่เด็กๆควรจะพูดได้ เขียนได้ แล้วยิ่งถ้าได้ทักษะภาษาอังกฤษที่คล่องด้วย ต่อไปลูกของเรา จะไปที่ไหน ไม่ลำบากแน่นอน วันนี้ เลยจะมาเล่าให้ฟัง ถึงเรื่อง ภาษาไทยกับเด็กอินเตอร์ ว่า เด็กนานาชาติ ได้เรียนภาษาไทยมากน้อยขนาดไหน? แล้ว วัฒนธรรมไทย มารยาทไทยหละ ยังมีรึเปล่า?
ตามข้อบังคับของ กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ โรงเรียนนานาชาติต้องมีการสอนวิชา ภาษาไทย และ วัฒนธรรมไทยให้กับนักเรียนไทยทุกคน อย่างน้อย สัปดาห์ละ 5 คาบ (คาบละ 50 นาที) ซึ่ง อย่างที่ โรงเรียนของลูก “ลงทุนมัม” จะมีการเรียนภาษาไทยทุกวัน วันละ 1 ชั่วโมง ซึ่ง คุณครูวิชาภาษาไทย นั้น เวลาสอน นอกจากจะเน้นเรื่อง การอ่านออก เขียนได้แล้ว คุณครูยังมักจะสอดแทรกเรื่องของ วัฒนธรรม ประเพณีไทยเข้าไปด้วยค่ะ
บ่อยครั้งที่ “ลงทุนมัม” เห็น เด็กๆ ทำกิจกรรม เกี่ยวเนื่องกับประเพณี วันสำคัญของไทย เช่น วันลอยกระทง วันเฉลิมพระชนม์พรรษา และ วันสงกรานต์ เด็กๆก็จะมีทำกิจกรรมทั้ง ทำกระทง ทำการ์ดวันพ่อ ทำการ์ดวันแม่ รวมไปถึง ในวันสงกรานต์ นอกเหนือจาก เด็กๆจะได้ รดน้ำดำหัวผู้ใหญ่แล้ว กิจกรรมที่เด็กๆชอบมากๆ และ ขาดไม่ได้เลย คือ การเล่นน้ำสงกรานต์ เล่นน้ำในช่วงอากาศร้อนๆ แถมยังได้เล่นกับเพื่อนๆ เรียกได้ว่า มันส์ สุดๆไปเลยค่ะ
สำหรับทักษะ ทางด้านภาษาไทย นั้น แน่นอนว่า เด็กนักเรียนโรงเรียนอินเตอร์ คงจะเก่งภาษาไทยสู้ เด็กนักเรียนที่เรียนโรงเรียนไทยไม่ได้ เพราะ สัปดาห์หนึ่งๆ เรียนภาษาไทยแค่ประมาณ 5 ชั่วโมง เทียบกับ โรงเรียนไทย ซึ่งได้เรียน ได้พูดภาษาไทยตลอดทั้งวัน สัปดาห์ละ 5 วัน จำนวนชั่วโมงเรียน เรียกว่า น้อยกว่าเยอะเลยค่ะ แต่ เกณฑ์ระดับความสามารถทางด้านทักษะภาษาไทย ทางกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ก็มีกำหนดอยู่นะคะ ว่า สำหรับเด็กนักเรียนโรงเรียนนานาชาตินั้น ในแต่ละระดับชั้นจะต้องเรียนรู้อะไรบ้าง? และแค่ไหน?
“ลงทุนมัม” ก็เห็นมีหลายๆครอบครัวที่ ลูกเรียนโรงเรียนนานาชาติ ก็พาลูกไปเรียนเสริมภาษาไทย แต่ทั้งนี้ คุณพ่อ คุณแม่ ก็สามารถฝึกภาษาไทยให้ลูกได้เองเช่นกัน ส่งเสริมให้ลูกรักการอ่าน ฝึกอ่านเยอะๆ อย่างเช่น เด็กเล็กๆ อาจจะให้ลูกอ่านเป็นพวก นิทาน หรือ การ์ตูนภาษาไทยที่ลูกสนใจ เมื่อเด็กๆ ได้อ่านบ่อยๆ นอกจากจะได้ความรู้แล้ว ยังทำให้เด็กๆ เก่งภาษาไทยขึ้นอีกด้วย “ลงทุนมัม” เชื่อว่า ไม่มีอะไรที่ยากเกินไปค่ะ ขอเพียงแค่เราตั้งใจและสนใจมันจริงๆ
