การไปเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียน ถือเป็นสิ่งหนึ่งที่สำคัญในการช่วยแม่ๆตัดสินใจในการเลือกโรงเรียนให้กับลูก แล้วยิ่งช่วงนี้ “ลงทุนมัม” เห็น หลายๆโรงเรียนกำลังจะจัดงาน Open House หรือ School Tour ให้กับ แม่ๆ หรือ ผู้ปกครองที่สนใจจะเข้าไปเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียน วันนี้ “ลงทุนมัม” เลยจะมาเล่าให้ฟังว่า งานนี้เค้ามีไปทำไม? ควรไปรึเปล่า? ไปแล้วเราจะได้อะไร? มาดูกันค่ะ 🙂
งาน Open House ถือเป็น งานสำคัญงานหนึ่งที่ โรงเรียนนานาชาติ มักจะจัดกันเป็นประจำทุกปี ซึ่งวัตถุประสงค์ก็เพื่อ จะแนะนำโรงเรียนให้ผู้ปกครองที่สนใจจะให้ลูกเข้ามาเรียนได้รู้จักโรงเรียนมากขึ้น ได้เข้ามาเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียนจริงๆ และยังได้มีโอกาสพูดคุยกับทีมงานของโรงเรียนเพื่อสอบถามข้อสงสัยต่างๆด้วยค่ะ
การจะไปงาน Open house หรือ School Tour นั้น คุณพ่อคุณแม่ ต้องติดต่อทางโรงเรียน เพื่อลงทะเบียนนัดหมายเข้าร่วมงานก่อนนะคะ และบางโรงเรียนหากไม่ได้จัดงานนี้ คุณพ่อ คุณแม่ สามารถนัดหมายโรงเรียนเพื่อนำชมโรงเรียนได้โดยตรงเช่นกันค่ะ
หากเป็นการนัดหมายเข้าชมโรงเรียนโดยตรง (School Tour) โดยที่โรงเรียนไม่ได้จัดงาน Open House นั้น โดยปกติ ก็จะมีเจ้าหน้าที่แผนก Admission ของโรงเรียน พาเดินชมโรงเรียน แต่ ผู้ปกครอง อาจจะไม่ได้มีโอกาส พบหรือ พูดคุยกับ Dean นะคะ อย่างไรก็ตาม การไป School Tour ก็มีข้อดี คือ เราได้เดินชมโรงเรียนแบบ Exclusive เลยค่ะ มีคำถามอะไร ก็ถามได้ส่วนตัวเลย (แต่ถ้าคำถามลึกๆมากๆ เช่น รายละเอียดทางด้านวิชาการ บางที Admission ก็ตอบไม่ได้เหมือนกันนะคะ อาจจะต้องไปคุบกับ ฝ่าย วิชาการอีกทีค่ะ)
สิ่งที่เราจะได้เจอเมื่อไปงาน School Tour ก็คือ
- ผู้ปกครองต้องกรอกข้อมูลเบื้องต้นของตนเองและลูกให้กับโรงเรียน เพื่อโรงเรียนจะได้ทราบว่า ลูกเราจะเข้าเรียนปีการศึกษาใด
- โรงเรียนจะแนะนำการเรียนการสอนของโรงเรียน ว่าจัดการเรียนการสอนแบบใด หลักสูตรอะไร รับนักเรียนห้องละกี่คนเป็นต้น
- ทีมงานของโรงเรียนจะพาเดินเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียน ดูห้องเรียน และ facility ต่างๆที่โรงเรียนมี ถ้าเราได้ไปในช่วงที่โรงเรียนมีการเรียนการสอนจริงๆยิ่งดีค่ะ จะได้ดูว่า เด็กๆที่โรงเรียนเรียนกันอย่างไร? บรรยากาศการเรียนการสอนเป็นอย่างไร?
- หากเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียนแล้ว มีข้อสงสัย ก็สามารถสอบถามกับทีมงานของโรงเรียนได้โดยตรงเลยค่ะ
“ลงทุนมัม” ลองลิสคำถามที่น่าสนใจ ไว้เป็นไอเดียให้ แม่ๆ สำหรับไปงานเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียน นะคะ ลองดูกันค่ะ
- โรงเรียนจัดการเรียนการสอนด้วยหลักสูตรใด ได้รับการรับรองหลักสูตรจากหน่วยงานใดบ้าง?
- จำนวนนักเรียน และ ครูต่อห้อง มีจำนวนเท่าใด? และ อัตราส่วน นักเรียนต่างชาติต่อห้องมีเท่าใด? ครูที่สอนเป็นคนประเทศไหน เป็น native speaker หรือไม่?
- นักเรียนที่จบแล้ว สามารถไปเรียนต่อที่ใดได้บ้าง? มหาวิทยาลัยในเมืองไทย หรือต่างประเทศ?
- โรงเรียนมีบริการ รถนักเรียน รับ-ส่ง ถึงบ้านหรือไม่ เส้นทางเป็นอย่างไร?
- การ รับ-ส่งนักเรียน การจัดการจราจรรอบโรงเรียนเป็นอย่างไร? มีที่จอดรถให้หรือไม่?
- ความปลอดภัยในการ เข้าและออก จากโรงเรียน เป็นอย่างไร? ใครสามารถเข้าออกโรงเรียนได้บ้าง?
- สำหรับเด็กเล็ก มีการนอนกลางวันหรือไม่ และถึงระดับชั้นไหน?
- ค่าใช้จ่ายของโรงเรียนเป็นอย่างไร? และ มีอัตราการเพิ่มต่อปีเป็นอย่างไร?
- โรงเรียนมีมาตรการดูแลสุขภาพของเด็กๆอย่างไร? ป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดของโรคต่างๆ และ pm 2.5 อย่างไร?
- อาหารหรือของว่างของนักเรียนเป็นอย่างไร?
ถ้าแม่ๆ ได้เยี่ยมชมโรงเรียนแล้วรู้สึกถูกใจ “ลงทุนมัม” แนะนำว่า ให้กรอกใบสมัครที่โรงเรียนไว้เลย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งโรงเรียนที่เป็นที่นิยม เพราะบางโรงเรียนจะพิจารณาการรับนักเรียนจากวันที่สมัครด้วยแบบ first come first serve นะคะ
ทั้งนี้ คุณพ่อ คุณแม่ อาจจะต้องเตรียมเอกสารเพิ่มเติม หากต้องการยื่นใบสมัครให้โรงเรียน เช่น สำเนาสูติบัตรของลูก และรูปถ่ายของลูก เป็นต้นค่ะ
