คุณพ่อ คุณแม่ หลายๆท่าน ที่ติดตาม “ลงทุนมัม” มาคงจะเคยได้ยิน “ลงทุนมัม” พูดถึงเรื่อง “ทักษะที่ต้องมีสำหรับเด็กในศตวรรษที่ 21” <https://www.longtunmom.com/21st-century-skills/> กันบ่อยๆ ซึ่งทักษะเหล่านี้ “ลงทุนมัม” มองว่าเป็นทักษะที่จะช่วยให้ลูกๆของเราอยู่รอดและเติบโตขึ้นไปอย่างมีความสุขได้ในโลกยุคที่ทุกอย่างเปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างรวดเร็วมากๆแบบนี้ได้ดีค่ะ ซึ่งตอนนี้หลายๆโรงเรียนต่างก็เริ่มเห็นความสำคัญในทักษะเหล่านี้และพยายามที่จะปลูกฝัง สอดแทรกทักษะต่างๆเหล่านี้ให้กับนักเรียน เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมในการเติบโตไปเป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่มีคุณภาพสำหรับเด็กๆ ซึ่งหนึ่งในโรงเรียนที่ให้ความสำคัญกับ ทักษะในศตวรรษที่ 21 มากๆจนระบุเข้าไปใน Values ของ โรงเรียนเลย ก็คือ โรงเรียนนานาชาติ KPIS (โรงเรียนนานาชาติกีรพัฒน์) โรงเรียนนานาชาติโรงเรียนที่ “ลงทุนมัม” อยากจะหยิบนำมาเล่าในวันนี้ค่ะ
โรงเรียนนานาชาติกีรพัฒน์ เป็นโรงเรียนนานาชาติที่ “ลงทุนมัม” ได้เคยรีวิวไว้ให้เพื่อนๆได้อ่านกันแล้วที่ https://www.longtunmom.com/kpis-expense/ โดย โรงเรียนนานาชาติKPIS นั้น เป็นโรงเรียนนานาชาติที่สอนด้วยหลักสูตรอเมริกัน ของ Common Core State Standards ซึ่งนอกเหนือจากทางด้าน Hard Skills หรือ วิชาการที่ได้มาตรฐานและได้รับการรับรองจาก WASC และ สถาบันรับรองการศึกษาต่างๆแล้ว โรงเรียนนานาชาติKPIS ยังเน้นพัฒนาเด็กๆในด้านของ Soft Skills หรือ ทักษะต่างๆที่จำเป็นในศตวรรษที่ 21 อีกด้วยค่ะ
การพัฒนาทักษะในศตวรรษที่ 21 ของ โรงเรียนนานาชาติกีรพัฒน์ นั้นจะเน้นให้เด็กๆได้ฝึกทักษะผ่านการลงมือทำในวิชาต่างๆ (hands-on education) อย่างเช่น วิชาดนตรี (Music), การแสดง (Performing Arts), Culinary Science, Innovations, Art Design and Technology และ วิชากีฬา เป็นต้น
ทักษะต่างๆ ทั้งทักษะ 4C (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication) รวมไปถึง การเป็น Lifelong Learner และ Global Citizenship จะถูกปลูกฝัง สอดแทรกเข้าไปในการเรียนการสอนต่างๆตั้งแต่ระดับชั้นอนุบาล เรื่อยไปจนถึงระดับมัธยมปลาย เพราะที่ KPIS นั้น การเรียนรู้จะเป็นรูปแบบของ Project-based Learning ซึ่งเป็นการให้ เด็กๆได้ เรียนรู้ผ่านการทำโครงงานต่างๆ เด็กๆจะได้ลงมือทำ ได้ฝึกคิดวิเคราะห์ปัญหา, ฝึกค้นคว้าหาข้อมูลด้วยตนเอง, ฝึกคิดหาวิธีการแก้ปัญหาอย่างสร้างสรรค์ และ รู้จักการทำงานเป็นทีม
ทักษะที่เป็นทักษะทางด้าน Soft Skills เหล่านี้ “ลงทุนมัม” ว่า เป็นทักษะที่เด็กๆไม่สามารถเรียนรู้ได้ผ่านเพียงแค่การอ่าน หรือ การสอนจากคุณครูเท่านั้น แต่ เป็นทักษะที่เด็กๆจะสามารถเรียนรู้ได้ดีที่สุดผ่านการได้ลงมือทำจริงๆ ซึ่งถ้าทางโรงเรียนเปิดโอกาสให้เด็กๆได้ “ลงมือทำ” พัฒนาทักษะเหล่านี้อยู่เรื่อยๆ เด็กๆก็จะสามารถพัฒนาทักษะเหล่านี้ของตน เพื่อพร้อมจะเติบโตขึ้นเป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่มีคุณภาพ และ สามารถทำงานร่วมกันกับผู้อื่นที่มีความหลากหลายทั้งทางด้านเชื้อชาติ และวัฒนธรรมได้ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ถ้าเด็กๆมีความพร้อมในเรื่องของทักษะทางด้านภาษาต่างชาติด้วย จะยิ่งส่งเสริมให้ลูกๆของพวกเราสามารถมีประสบการณ์ในระดับนานาชาติได้อีกด้วย
“ลงทุนมัม” อยากแนะนำให้เพื่อนๆลองพิจารณาข้อมูลเหล่านี้ เวลาที่จะเลือกโรงเรียนให้กับลูกๆของเราด้วยนะคะ เพราะ เด็กในยุคนี้ จะเก่งทางด้านวิชาการอย่างเดียวไม่ได้ แต่ควรจะต้องเป็นคนที่ Well rounded หรือมี ความสามารถรอบด้าน เพื่อพร้อมรับกับโลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างรวดเร็วในยุคนี้ได้ดีค่ะ

obviously like your website but you have to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very bothersome to tell the reality then again I’ll surely come again again.
