Critical Thinking Skill หรือ ทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ เป็นหนึ่งในทักษะที่สำคัญสำหรับเด็กๆในยุคนี้ อย่างที่ “ลงทุนมัม” เคยเล่าให้ฟังไปบ้างแล้ว ใน 3 ทักษะต้องมีสำหรับเด็กในศตวรรษที่ 21
ทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ นั้น เป็นทักษะที่จะได้ใช้ประโยชน์ เมื่อเราได้ยินได้ฟังข้อมูลอะไรมา แล้ว เรานำสิ่งที่ได้รับฟังนั้นมาประเมิน มาคิด จาก ความรู้ หรือ ประสบการณ์ที่เรามี และเหตุผลต่างๆ ว่า เรื่องราวเหล่านั้นน่าเชื่อถือหรือไม่?
เพื่อนๆหลายคน คงมีคำถามอยู่ในใจว่า แล้ว เราจะมีวิธีฝึกทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ให้กับลูกๆของเราได้อย่างไร ใช่ไหมคะ? พอดี “ลงทุนมัม” ได้มีโอกาสอ่านบทความหนึ่งเกี่ยวกับการเสริมสร้างทักษะนี้ให้กับเด็กๆ เลยอยากจะนำมาแบ่งปันให้กับเพื่อนๆได้ลองไปใช้กับลูกๆดูค่ะ
วิธีง่ายๆ ที่เพื่อนๆสามารถนำไปใช้กับลูกๆได้ในทุกๆวัน คือ เราต้องรู้จักการถามลูกให้ลูกๆได้รู้จักคิด วิเคราะห์เพื่อหาคำตอบ ด้วย การตั้งคำถาม ด้วย “ทำไม WHY?” และ “อย่างไร HOW?”
ลูกๆของพวกเรา เป็นเด็กขี้สงสัย เจ้าหนูจำไม ชอบเล่า สารพัด จะเล่า ให้พ่อแม่ฟัง อยู่แล้วใช่ไหมคะ ทีนี้ เวลา คุยกันในครอบครัวถึงเรื่องราวต่างๆ ก็ลองตั้งคำถามกับลูกๆดูด้วยคำว่า
- ใคร WHO❓
- อะไร WHAT❓
- เมื่อไหร่ WHEN❓
- ที่ไหน WHERE❓
- ทำไม WHY❓
- อย่างไร HOW❓
“ลงทุนมัม” จะลองยกตัวอย่าง คำถามที่ใช้คุยกับลูกประจำ เวลา เจ้าลูกสาวตัวน้อย ชอบมาเล่าอะไรให้ฟัง หลักจากไปได้ยิน ได้ฟัง เรื่องราวจากคนอื่นมา อย่างเช่น เวลาลูกสาว เห็นโฆษณา ยาสีฟันในทีวี เล่าสรรพคุณ ว่า ยาสีฟัน นี้ดีมาก ใช้แล้วฟันสะอาด มาก สุดแสนจะ perfect เด็กน้อย แสนใสซื่อ ฟังปุ๊บ เชื่อปั๊บ แล้ว เอามาถ่ายทอดให้แม่ฟังทันที ว่า สิ่งนี้ดีเหลือเกิน ทีนี้ เวลามาเล่าให้แม่ แม่ลองถามกลับไปเลยค่ะว่า “ทำไมหนูถึงคิดว่ายาสีฟันนี้มันดีคะ?” หรือ “หนูคิดว่ายาสีฟันนี้ดีอย่างไร?”
การถามคำถามกลับแบบนี้ จะช่วยฝึกให้เด็กๆ นำข้อมูลข่าวสารที่ได้รับมา มาคิดแล้วค่ะ ว่า ข้อมูลที่เราได้รับมาคืออะไร? ใครไปเป็นคนเล่า? แล้ว มีดีอย่างไร? หรือ ดีจริงหรือเปล่า?
ทักษะเหล่านี้จะเป็นประโยชน์มาก สำหรับในยุคปัจจุบัน ยุคที่ข้อมูลข่าวสาร มากมายเหลือเกิน จนเราไม่แน่ใจว่า ข้อมูลที่เราได้รับมานั้น เป็นข้อมูลจริง หรือ เป็นข้อมูลปลอม เพราะฉะนั้น ถ้าลูกของเราได้ยิน ได้ฟัง หรือ รับข้อมูลข่าวสารมา พยายามฝึกให้เด็กๆ รับข้อมูลมา แล้วนำข้อมูลมาย่อย มาคิดวิเคราะห์ดูก่อน ว่า สิ่งนี้ จริง หรือ เท็จ เชื่อได้หรือไม่ น่าจะเป็นประโยชน์ไม่น้อยเลย จริงไหมคะ?
