Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University (SBS) เป็นโรงเรียน 2 ภาษา (Bilingual School) ภายใต้มหาวิทยาลัย รังสิต ปัจจุบันมีอยู่ 2 แห่ง คือ ที่ จังหวัด ปทุมธานี และ ที่ เชียงใหม่ ค่ะ
วันนี้ “ลงทุนมัม” จะมาเล่าให้ฟังถึง SBS ที่ตั้งอยู่ในจังหวัด ปทุมธานี นะคะ
โรงเรียนสาธิตแห่งมหาวิทยาลัย รังสิต ก่อตั้งมาตั้งแต่ ปี พ.ศ.2547 เป็นเวลากว่า 16 ปีแล้ว โดย เปิดรับนักเรียนตั้งแต่ อายุ 2 ปี ไปจนถึง 18 ปี ซึ่งจะเป็นระดับชั้นตั้งแต่ Early Years, Primary School และ Secondary School ค่ะ โดยปัจจุบัน มีนักเรียนอยู่ประมาณ 1,060 คน ทั้งนักเรียนไทย และ นักเรียนต่างชาติ มีทั้งแบบ เรียนประจำ (อยู่ที่หอพัก) และ แบบ ไป-กลับ ค่ะ
เนื่องจาก โรงเรียนสาธิตแห่งมหาวิทยาลัย รังสิต นั้น เป็น Bilingual School เพราะฉะนั้น จะมีการผสมผสานระหว่าง การสอนหลักสูตรไทย และ หลักสูตร นานาชาติ โดยในระดับ อนุบาล และ ประถมศึกษานั้น จะใช้ หลักสูตร IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Curriculum) และ ระดับ มัธยมศึกษานั้น จะเป็น หลักสูตรของอังกฤษ (British Curriculum)
หลักการเรียนของหลักสูตร IB นั้นจะเป็นการเรียนรู้ผ่าน เรื่องราว หรือ Theme ต่างๆ โดยจะเน้นให้ผู้เรียน ได้เรียนรู้แบบองค์รวม โดยผสมผสานความรู้จากหลายๆศาสตร์เข้าด้วยกัน ซึ่งจะทำให้เด็กๆ เข้าใจเรื่องราวต่างๆได้อย่างลึกซึ้งมากยิ่งขึ้น
ในระดับมัธยมศึกษา นักเรียนจะสามารถเลือกหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอน ได้ใน 2 รูปแบบ คือ Cambridge International Program หรือ Bilingual Program
หากเป็น หลักสูตร Cambridge International Program นั้น จะเป็น หลักสูตรนานาชาติ เหมือนกับ โรงเรียนนานาชาติ ที่ใช้หลักสูตรอังกฤษ เลยค่ะ คือ จะเป็น หลักสูตร IGCSE ในช่วงระดับชั้น ม.1-ม.4 และในระดับชั้น มัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 และ 6 นั้น จะเรียน A/AS Level โดยวิชาที่เปิดสอนมีดังนี้
A/AS Levels M5-M6
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Business Studies
สำหรับค่าใช้จ่ายของโรงเรียนสาธิตแห่งมหาวิทยาลัย รังสิต รายละเอียดค่าเทอม สำหรับปี 2020 สามารถดูได้จากเวปไซต์โรงเรียน <https://www.sbs.ac.th/bangkok/admissions.html> ค่ะ ลงทุนมัม” ประมาณไว้ว่า ค่าเทอม จะมีการเพิ่มขึ้น 3% ทุกปี (ซึ่งปกติ ค่าเล่าเรียนของโรงเรียนนานาชาติ จะมีการปรับขึ้นทุกปีอยู่แล้ว เป็น % บางโรงเรียน อาจจะ 3% บางโรงเรียนอาจจะ 5% แล้วแต่โรงเรียนเลยค่ะ)
“ลงทุนมัม” ลองจิ้มตัวเลขให้แม่ๆดูแล้ว ถ้าส่งลูกเรียน ตั้งแต่ชั้น Kindergarten ถึง M6 (15 ปี) เราจะต้องเตรียมเงินไว้ประมาณ 5,351,132 บาท

ส่วนที่ 1 (จ่ายครั้งเดียวตอนแรกเข้า)
- Admission Fee 65,000 บาท
- Student Deposit 10,000 บาท
- Security Deposit 5,000 บาท
ส่วนที่ 2 ค่าใช้จ่ายรายปี รวมทั้งหมด 15 ปี (อ้างอิงจากค่าเทอมปีการศึกษา 2020-2021)
- ค่าเทอมระดับชั้น Kindergarten 1 ถึง M6 5,161,132 บาท
- Cambridge International Program 110,000 บาท
