วันนี้ “ลงทุนมัม” จะมารีวิวโรงเรียนนานาชาติที่น่าสนใจโรงเรียนหนึ่ง โรงเรียนนี้อยู่ในย่านพญาไท ซึ่งเรียกได้ว่าตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมืองเลยทีเดียว นั่นก็คือ โรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ ( RBIS International School) หรือชื่อเดิมคือ โรงเรียนอาร์บิสรัศมีนานาชาติ ค่ะ
ความประทับใจแรกของ “ลงทุนมัม” ที่มีกับ RBIS คือ Mission ของโรงเรียนที่ว่า

ด้วย Mission ของ โรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ นี้ สื่อถือความตั้งใจของโรงเรียนที่จะให้ความสำคัญกับทุกๆ ช่วงเวลาของนักเรียน เพราะ แค่ moment เดียว ก็สามารถจะนำไปสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตและ เปลี่ยนแปลงโลกได้ สโลแกนนี้ โดยส่วนตัวแล้ว “ลงทุนมัม” ชอบมากๆค่ะ เพราะรู้สึกว่า ทีมงานของโรงเรียนมีความใส่ใจรายละเอียดมากกับทุกๆเวลาของเด็กๆ
โรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ เป็นโรงเรียนนานาชาติที่ตั้งอยู่ในย่านพญาไท ไม่ไกลจากสถานีรถไฟฟ้า อนุสาวรีย์ชัยเท่าไรนัก โรงเรียนได้การรับรองคุณภาพการศึกษาจากองค์กร EDT ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรรับรองมาตรฐานการศึกษาระดับโลก ซึ่งโรงเรียนแห่งนี้เริ่มต้นมาจากการเป็น โรงเรียนอนุบาลรัศมี เมื่อ 40 กว่าปีก่อน ซึ่งปัจจุบันได้เปลี่ยนมาเป็นโรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ ดูบรรยากาศโรงเรียนแล้ว อบอุ่น น่าเรียน และนักเรียนยิ้มแย้มสดใสมากค่ะ
โรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ นั้นจัดการเรียนการสอนด้วย หลักสูตรอังกฤษ (British Curriculum) โดยจะมีการจัดการเรียนการสอนตั้งแต่ระดับชั้น
- Foundation Stage (Nursery – Reception) เริ่มต้นตั้งแต่อายุ 2 ปี ขึ้นไป
- Key Stage 1 ( Year 1 – Year 2)
- Key Stage 2 (Year 3 – 6)
- Key Stage 3 (Year 7 – 9)
- Key Stage 4 (Year 10 – 11) ซึ่งมี IGCSE
- Key Stage 5 (Year 10 – 11) ซึ่งจะมีให้เลือกเรียน ระหว่าง A Level และ BTEC
นอกเหนือจากการศึกษาทางด้านวิชาการแล้ว ทางโรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ ยังเป็น หนึ่งในโรงเรียนของกลุ่ม Round Square ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มโรงเรียนที่มี network ทั่วโลก เพื่อมุ่งเน้นให้เด็กๆในโรงเรียนเครือข่ายนั้น นอกจากจะมีความเป็นเลิศในแง่ของวิชาการแล้ว ยังมีความเข้าใจโลกในระดับนานาชาติ และ เป็น Global Citizenship ที่ดีด้วย กิจกรรมของโรงเรียนในกลุ่ม Round Square นั้นจะมีทั้ง การทำ project ร่วมกัน, การแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลกันระหว่างโรงเรียน และ การจัดสัมมนาประจำปี แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้กันของนักเรียนทั่วโลกด้วย ซึ่งถือเป็นโอกาสที่ดีที่นักเรียนของ RBIS นั้นจะได้มีโอกาสแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์กับเพื่อนในระดับนานาชาติ อีกทั้งยังมีกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการเป็นผู้นำ และ team work ที่สร้างสรรค์สิ่งเหล่านี้จะเป็นองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญ สำหรับการเตรียมความพร้อมสู่โลกยุคใหม่ในอนาคตที่นักเรียนควรมี
และ เนื่องจาก โรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ เป็นโรงเรียนที่สอนด้วยระบบอังกฤษ แน่นอนว่า จะต้องมีระบบบ้าน หรือ RBIS House System ซึ่งเป็นการส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนภายในโรงเรียนในทุกๆระดับชั้นได้ทำการรู้จักกันอย่างทั่วถึงผ่านการทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ โดยที่ โรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ นั้นจะมีอยู่ด้วยกัน 4 บ้าน ได้แก่
- Unicorn House
- Dragon House
- Lion House
- Phoenix House
ถึงแม้ว่า RBIS นั้นจะเป็นโรงเรียนขนาดกลาง แต่ Facility ต่างๆของโรงเรียน ก็มีค่อนข้างครบครัน ตั้งแต่ สระว่ายน้ำ, สนามเทนนิส, สนามแบดมินตัน, สนามฟุตบอล และ สนามบาสเก็ตบอล เพียงพอที่จะให้เด็กๆได้ออกกำลังกายกันได้เต็มทีค่ะ
โรงเรียนอาร์บิสนานาชาติ เน้นเรื่องคุณภาพการเรียนการสอนที่ครูทุกคนจะเป็นชาวต่างชาติผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ และมีประสบการณ์ด้านวิชาการเรียนการสอน และอัตราส่วนนักเรียนต่อครู ที่ใกล้ชิดและการบริหารจัดการที่มีจุดมุ่งหมายชัดเจน จึงไม่น่าแปลกใจเลย ที่ผลการสอบวัดระดับ A Levels และ IGCSE ของโรงเรียนปีล่าสุด นักเรียนสอบผ่านในเล้นท์ A*- C = 100% และเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยทุกคน แต่มุมมองของโรงเรียนนั้น ไม่เน้นเรื่องเรียนเพื่อสอบอย่างเดียว และโรงเรียนไม่สนับสนุนให้นักเรียน เรียนพิเศษเพราะโรงเรียนเชื่อมั่นว่า คุณภาพการเรียนการสอนในห้องเรียนและกิจกรรมเสริมหลังเลิกเรียนนั้นเพียงพอแล้ว ในหลักสูตรยังมีการสอน วิชาภาษาไทยและจีน เรียกได้ว่า เป็น packageที่ครบถ้วนมากๆ
