Ekamai International School (EIS) ดีไหม ค่าเทอมเท่าไหร่? (รีวิวโรงเรียน)

EIS

Ekamai International School (EIS) เป็น โรงเรียนนานาชาติในย่านเอกมัย ที่มีประวัติยาวนาน ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1946 โดยเริ่มจากการเป็นศูนย์ฝึกอบรมเด็กของ “กลุ่มคริสเตียนวันเสาร์ (Seventh Day Adventist)” ของศาสนาคริสต์ นิกาย โปรเตสแตนต์ (คริสเตียน) และ ได้ พัฒนามาเป็น โรงเรียนนานาชาติเอกมัย (Ekamai International School (EIS)) ในปี ค.ศ. 1992 ซึ่งปัจจุบัน นับเป็นเวลากว่า 28 ปี แล้วค่ะ

โรงเรียนนานาชาติเอกมัย เปิดสอนตั้งแต่ระดับชั้น Pre-K (2 ขวบขึ้นไป) จนถึง Grade 12 โดยเปิดการเรียนการสอน โดยใช้ หลักสูตร อเมริกัน ของ มลรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย โดยได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานสากลจาก Western Association of Schools and Colleges หรือ WASC ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันรับรองมาตรฐานการศึกษาจากสหรัฐอเมริกา ควบคู่ไปกับหลักของกลุ่ม Seventh Day Adventist 

จำนวนนักเรียนในโรงเรียนมีอยู่ประมาณ​ 1,300 คน ซึ่งถือเป็นโรงเรียนที่มีขนาดใหญ่พอสมควรค่ะ โดยมีนักเรียนจาก 33 สัญชาติทั่วโลก และมีอัตราส่วนนักเรียนต่างชาติอยู่ที่ 23%

การเรียนการสอนของ EIS ในระดับชั้น อนุบาล (Kindergarten) จะมีการนำการเรียนการสอนแบบ มอนเตสเซอรี่ (Montessori) มาใช้ด้วย โดยการสอนแบบ Montessori จะเป็นวิธีการศึกษาที่มุ่งเน้นเด็กเป็นหลัก โดยอาศัยการสังเกตทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของเด็ก

สำหรับระดับชั้นมัธยมปลาย (High School) นั้น ปัจจุบันมีเปิดสอนทั้งหลักสูตรปกติ และ หลักสูตรวิชาเรียนระดับสูง หรือ Advanced Placement Program (AP) โดย AP Program จะมีให้เลือกทั้งหมด 4 รายวิชา (AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics และ AP English)  ซึ่งนักเรียนที่จบ หลักสูตร AP นี้จะสามารถยกเว้นการเรียนในบางวิชา เมื่อเข้าเรียนระดับมหาวิทยาลัยในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาได้อีกด้วย (อ่านรายละเอียดของ การเรียนการสอนหลักสูตรอเมริกัน ได้ที่นี่ค่ะ “โรงเรียนนานาชาติ หลักสูตรอเมริกัน เป็นอย่างไร ดีหรือไม่” )

สำหรับค่าใช้จ่ายของโรงเรียน EIS รายละเอียดค่าเทอม สำหรับปี 2020 สามารถดูได้จาก เวปไซต์โรงเรียน <http://www.eis.ac.th/admissions/fees-new-students> ค่ะ “ลงทุนมัม” คำนวณโดยประมาณไว้ว่า ค่าเทอม จะมีการเพิ่มขึ้น 3% ทุกปี (ซึ่งปกติ ค่าเล่าเรียนของโรงเรียนนานาชาติ จะมีการปรับขึ้นทุกปีอยู่แล้ว เป็น % บางโรงเรียน อาจจะ 3% บางโรงเรียนอาจจะ 5% แล้วแต่โรงเรียนเลยค่ะ)

“ลงทุนมัม” ลองจิ้มตัวเลขให้แม่ๆดูแล้ว ถ้าส่งลูกเรียน ตั้งแต่ชั้น K1 ถึง Grade 12 เราจะต้องเตรียมเงินไว้ประมาณ 3,266,550 บาท หรือเทียบเท่าซื้อรถ Toyota Camry ได้ 2 คันค่ะ

ส่วนที่ 2 (ค่าใช้จ่ายรายปี รวมทั้งหมด 15 ปี อ้างอิงจากค่าเทอมปีการศึกษา 2019-2020)

  1. ค่าเทอมระดับชั้น K1 จนถึง Grade 12                       2,750,550 บาท
  2. Catering Service                                                      240,000 บาท

เป็นอย่างไรบ้างคะ? แม่ๆดูรายละเอียดของโรงเรียนนานาชาติเอกมัยแล้ว ถูกใจแม่ๆกันรึเปล่าคะ? ตอน “ลงทุนมัม” คำนวณตัวเลขแล้ว ถึงกับตกใจเลยค่ะ เพราะ ราคาดี น่าคบหามากๆ

อยากบอกว่า ปัจจุบัน โรงเรียนไทย (บางโรงเรียน) ค่าใช้จ่าย ทั้งค่าเทอม และ อื่นๆ รวมๆกันแล้ว มีเหมือนกันที่ค่าใช้จ่ายก็ประมาณนี้นะคะ อย่างไรก็ตาม โรงเรียนแต่ะละโรงเรียนยังมีรายละเอียดปลีกย่อยที่แตกต่างกันไปอีกนะคะ ตรงนี้แม่ๆควรจะศึกษาถึงหลักสูตรของแต่ละโรงเรียนอย่างละเอียดก่อนที่จะเลือกโรงเรียนให้ลูกๆของเรานะคะ ทางที่ดีไปดูโรงเรียนเลยน่าจะได้โรงเรียนที่ถูกใจทั้งคุณแม่และคุณลูกที่สุดค่ะ เลือกโรงเรียนทั้งที ยิ่งเป็นโรงเรียนนานาชาติด้วยแล้ว ค่าเทอมก็แสนจะแพง ยังไงเราก็ต้องเลือกที่ดีที่สุดใช่ไหมคะ?
