พลังแห่งการวาด

วาดรูปดียังไง? ทำไมถึงช่วยให้เราจำได้ดีขึ้น “ลงทุนมัม” จะเล่าให้ฟังว่า วาดรูปมีประโยชน์ อย่างไร?

ลูกๆใครมีปัญหากับการจำบ้างคะ? อ่านเท่าไหร่ก็จำไม่ได้ ต้องอ่านแล้วอ่านอีก ซ้ำไปซ้ำมา จนกว่าจะจำได้! 

คุณพ่อ คุณแม่ รู้ไหมคะว่า เคล็ดลับอย่างหนึ่งที่จะทำให้เราจำได้ดีขึ้นนั่นคือ “การวาดรูป” หลายคนฟังแล้วคงบอกว่า โห นี่ยิ่งยากกว่าการจำปกติอีก เพราะฉันวาดรูปไม่เป็น!! แต่จริงๆแล้ว เราไม่จำเป็นต้องวาดรูปสวยถึงจะช่วยให้เราจำได้ แต่การวาดรูปด้วยตนเองจากเนื้อหาที่เราอ่านมาต่างหากที่ทำให้เราจำได้ดี

มีการทดลองหนึ่งที่มหาวิทยาลัย Waterloo ให้ คนจำลิสของคำศัพท์ง่ายๆจำนวนหนึ่งโดยแบ่งการจำออกเป็นสองกลุ่ม กลุ่มหนึ่งจำศัพท์โดยการวาดภาพที่สื่อความหมายถึงคำศัพท์นั้นและ อีกกลุ่มหนึ่งจำศัพท์โดยการจดตัวอักษร พบว่า คนที่วาดรูปที่มีความหมายเป็นคำศัพท์นั้นๆสามารถจำจำนวนคำศัพท์ได้มากกว่าคนที่จำศัพท์โดยการจดตัวอักษรถึงสองเท่า! เพราะอะไรการวาดรูปถึงทำให้เราจำได้มากขึ้น?

จากการศึกษาพบว่ากระบวนการที่สมองเราแปลความหมายของเรื่องราวต่างๆออกมาเป็นรูปภาพแล้วลงมือวาดมันออกมานี่แหละค่ะ ที่เป็นตัวสำคัญให้เราจำเรื่องราวเหล่านั้นได้ดียิ่งขึ้น 

วาดรูปมีประโยชน์

อย่างลูกสาวของ “ลงทุนมัม” เอง ชอบวาดรูปมากๆเลยค่ะ กระดาษวาดรูปที่วาดแล้วของลูกมีเก็บไว้เป็นปึกๆ (แถมยังไม่ยอมให้ทิ้งอีกแหนะ) ซึ่ง “ลงทุนมัม” มองว่า ลูกได้ประโยชน์มากมายจากการวาดรูปนะคะ เพราะการวาดรูปช่วยให้เด็กได้ฝึกทั้ง

  • ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ เพราะได้ปลดปล่อยจินตนาการของตัวเองอย่างอิสระ 
  • ฝึกกล้ามเนื้อมัดเล็ก 
  • ให้เด็กได้ปลดปล่อยอารมณ์ คลายเครียด สังเกตุว่า ตอนลูกอารมณ์ไม่ดี จับลูกไปนั่งวาดรูป ทำให้ลูกสงบลง และกลับมาอารมณ์ดีได้เร็วขึ้น
  • ฝึกสมาธิ เพราะการวาดรูป จะทำให้เด็กจดจ่อและโฟกัสอยู่ที่ ดินสอ กระดาษและสี
  • ฝึกทักษะการเชื่อมโยงระหว่าง การมองเห็น และ การวาดสิ่งที่เห็น หรือ จำ ลงบนแผ่นกระดาษ
  • ฝึกการสังเกตุ โดยเฉพาะ เวลาให้เด็กวาดภาพจากสิ่งที่เห็น เพราะต้องจดจำรายละเอียดต่างๆ เพื่อถ่ายทอดออกมาเป็นภาพ
  • ฝึกทักษะการแก้ปัญหาและการตัดสินใจด้วยตนเอง ทั้งการเลือกสีที่จะใช้ ลายเส้น หรือแม้แต่ขนาดของวัตถุต่างๆที่วาด
  • ฝึกความมั่นใจ เมื่อเด็กโตขึ้น ฝีมือการวาดรูปก็จะค่อยๆพัฒนาขึ้น เมื่อลูกของเราเห็นพัฒนาการของตนเอง จะเสริมสร้างความมั่นใจ และ คุณค่าในตัวเองได้  

แล้วยิ่งการวาดรูป จะช่วยทำให้เราจดจำได้ดีขึ้นอีก ไม่น่าเชื่อเลยค่ะว่า แค่การขีดๆ เขียนๆ ดูเหมือนมีประโยชน์เพียงแค่ผ่อนคลาย กลับกลายเป็นกิจกรรมที่มีประโยชน์อย่างมากมาย โดยที่เราไม่รู้ตัว 

แม่ๆท่านไหนอยากลองเอาเทคนิคนี้ไปใช้กับลูกๆ ก็น่าสนใจดีนะคะ เห็นไหมคะว่า การ วาดรูปมีประโยชน์ มากมาย นอกจากเด็กๆจะสนุกและผ่อนคลายกับการวาดรูป ระบายสีแล้ว ยังช่วยให้เด็กๆจำวิชาเรียนต่างๆได้ดียิ่งขึ้นอีกด้วยค่ะ
